Kiwanis Club of Sterling, Illinois
2018 Peanut Days are almost here!
Kiwanis Peanut Days are rapidly approaching. This is our primary fundraiser used to support
youth and charitable needs in the Sterling area. We would appreciate your support by helping
us to underwrite the basic cost of the peanuts we “give away” for donations on our Peanut
Days, June 8th and 9th.
As you already know, 100% of the proceeds from the Kiwanis Peanut Days go directly into
charitable and community needs. No funds collected are used for any administrative costs.

The Objects of Kiwanis
- To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
Civic-minded, results-oriented, fun-loving individuals who wish to join with like-minded people to cooperatively work to enhance the lives of children and improve the local community, to join us in meaningful projects, interesting programs and enjoyable activities.
We are always interested in meeting prospective members or finding out about new projects. If you let us know, we will forward a personal invitation to a meeting or event, or you can just drop by to see what we are doing. You are always welcome.
